Since many jet ski owners use their jet skis less often than they originally thought they would, many jet skis spend a lot more time in the garage or on the trailer than in the water. When you buy a used jet ski that has not actually been used much, you can sometimes get an almost-new machine for much less than the new price. Another reason to consider buying a used jet ski is that, unless you live right on the water, you probably won't use it that often either.
